Jordan will receive a gift from Israel: 16 Cobra military helicopters in order to fight the Islamic State terrorist organization on its Syrian and Iraqi borders.
According to an official who wished to remain anonymous, the transfer of the US-made helicopters to the Jordanian Air Force was approved in Washington in 2014. The official pointed out that this is about the free transfer of the equipment in use. The official named the exact number, noting that it is planned to transfer about 16 helicopters, but some of them, in his opinion, may be used as spare parts,gazeta.ru reports.
