Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen will pay an official visit to Ashgabat on April 20. As part of the trip, he will take participate in the opening ceremony of the Israeli diplomatic mission.
Earlier, Cohen announced that the Israeli side intended to open a permanent mission in Turkmenistan.
According to him, Israel and Turkmenistan are strategic partners.
Cohen noted that the Israeli embassy in the Turkmen capital would strengthen the already formed partnership and give an additional impetus to the development of cooperation between the two countries.
