Istanbul office of Turkish ruling party attacked

Unknown people fired at the office of the ruling Turkish Justice and Development Party in the city of Istanbul, the press service of the provincial governor's office reports.

The statement released by the office says that two unidentified people fired five shots into the air, while driving past a building in the Bahçelievler district. Four bullets damaged the top floor of the office.

It is noted that as a result of the shooting, there are no victims or wounded. The search for the shooters is underway. The party assured that they would continue to prepare for the elections scheduled for May 14.
