Jacques Myard: Crimea has always belonged to Russia

Member of National Assembly of France, Jacques Myard, who visited Crimea with other French politicians this week, has said in an interview with a national TV channel that the Crimean peninsula has always been Russian after it was conquered from the Ottoman Empire.  

Any other position causing sanctions just leads to deadlock, he added.
