After talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the current generation must see a conclusion of a Russian-Japanese peace treaty.
"The issue of a peace treaty that was not signed for more than 70 years is not easy to solve, but our generation wants to put an end to this problem," he said, stressing that this is one of the priority areas for the Japanese diplomacy.
