Japanese Foreign Minister wants to talk about North Korea with Lavrov

Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida wants to hold a telephone conversation with his counterparts from Russia and China. Fumio Kishida wants to convince Sergei Lavrov and Wang Yi in a personal conversation that it is necessary to introduce effective sanctions against North Korea.

Kishida noted that "this is the fourth test of a nuclear weapon (in the DPRK), and if you think about the technological development of their means of delivery, starting with the ballistic missiles, we understand that this is a common threat to the entire world community."
