President Sadyr Japarov urged people, political forces and media in Kyrgyzstan to stay calm.
The President asked not to foment hatred and to resist provocations.
"We will find common language with Tajik brothers and will resolve issues with account of good neighborly interests and accord on our ancient soil. Those who try to fuel conflict from inside are dangerous. I call on all internal political forces for restraint in such uneasy time for the country," President Japarov said on his Facebook page, AKIPress reports.
