Jeb Bush loses chance to become his family's third US president

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who is the son of the 41st US President George Bush Sr. and brother of the 43rd President George W. Bush, has announced the cessation of his election campaign.

He made this statement after the Republican primaries in South Carolina. "I am proud of my campaign, but the residents of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina have spoken. Today, I finish my campaign," Interfax quotes Bush as saying.
