The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, called the development of cooperation with Russia and other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) one of the main tasks of the republic's leadership.
”After taking the presidential office, I spent much time working to strengthen the relations with the neighboring states," he said during a visit to the Issyk-Kul region. "My first visit was to the Russian Federation," the Kyrgyz president recalled. "Cooperation with Russia and the member states of the EAEU is a priority of our foreign policy," he stressed.
