European Union Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn has been given honorary citizenship of Tbilisi.
Hahn met with Georgia’s State Minister of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Victor Dolidze in Brussels yesterday. Dolidze congratulated the EU Commissioner on becoming an honorary citizen of Tbilisi.
They discussed the preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit scheduled for November in Brussels, Ageda,ge reported.
Hahn stressed the progress of Georgia, part of the EU’s Eastern Partnership initiative, and said that Georgia is a leader in terms of implementing reforms.
