British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was ready to discuss the Ukrainian issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Russia's goal is to keep NATO away from its borders. If so, it's hard to imagine anything more counterproductive than the invasion of Ukraine. My honorable friends - the British Foreign Secretary and the British Secretary of Defense - have already conveyed the message to President Putin and I, of course, am ready to talk with him again", TASS quoted Johnson.
The head of the British government is also confident that all Moscow's fears will be eliminated, and "we can find a way to common security through calm diplomacy with firm principles," warning that this is possible only if Ukraine is not attacked.
