Today, People's Artist of the USSR Josef Kobzon turns 80 years old.
The singer is going to celebrate the anniversary on September 20. His solo concert will take place in the State Kremlin Palace. Friends and colleagues of Kobzon, including the Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir led by People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Minin, the Nekrasov Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments, Turetsky Choir Art Group, Grigory Leps, Alexander Rosenbaum, Oleg Gazmanov, Tamara Gverdtsiteli and Valeriy Meladze will perform at the event.
