Turkey won't be ready for EU membership in the coming years, the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said in an interview with the German newspaper Handelsblatt.
"Turkey is currently not ready for accession. And I think that won’t be the case in 10 years either," TASS cited the head of the European Commission as saying.
Speaking about the EU summit in Brussels, Juncker said that he is “cautiously optimistic” about it.
