A meeting of the International Contact Group on Afghanistan will be held in Baku on June 28.
Afghan officials and Taliban representatives will hold peace talks on the sidelines of the meeting, diplomatic sources said.
Afghanistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai will join the talks in Baku, APA reported.
The Afghan Taliban announced a three-day ceasefire over the Muslim Eid holiday in the middle of June, days after the government declared an unconditional ceasefire of its own.
