The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has explained why he wants militants who join the terrorist group Islamic State to be deprived of their Russian citizenship.
He noted that people who join IS clearly understand the aims of this organization. "And they do so against our country. If we know that they are ready to kill us, then why should we bother about them? We have to act against them harshly. Therefore, I urge the State Duma to adopt a law on deprivation of citizenship,’’ Tass cites the head of the Chechen Republic.
