Kadyrov explains ban on leaving home at night

On April 3,  head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, explained the ban on leaving home at night in the region.

According to him, this ban is not a curfew, it is "stop, movement." “We have no right to impose a curfew,” he wrote on Instagram.

The Chechen leader also noted that the corresponding regime was introduced by the Republican leadership in order to "clean up" the cities and villages and ensure the work of equipment that disinfects streets of settlements in Chechnya.
