During the solemn ceremony of opening of the Shuakhevi Hydro Power Plant in Adjara, Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze announced that he intends to resign in order to run for mayor of Tbilisi. Thus, he confirmed the information that he will become the main candidate of the Georgian Dream party in the upcoming mayoral elections in the capital.
"While still a football player, I dreamed that after finishing my career I will return to Georgia, and it happened. And I dreamed of contributing to the development of the country, and now I am proud that we have opened the largest hydro power plant in Adjara, " Georgia Online quotes Kakha Kaladze as saying.
