Georgian Minister of Energy, Kakha Kaladze, said that the agreement on additional supplies of Azerbaijani gas is almost reached.
"At a meeting with the President of SOCAR, we discussed our future cooperation and purchase of additional gas, which is an important issue for our domestic demand. In fact, we came to the main agreement, and there will be an opportunity to receive additional volumes from the Shah Deniz pipeline," APA cited Kaladze as saying.
The Minister also added that the negotiations with Gazprom will come to an end in the near future.
