Spokesman for the Turkish president Ibrahim Kalin addressed claims suggesting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was losing favor with the Turkish people based on election results, despite the president’s ruling party winning by a landslide.
According to him, those, who are "servicing the 'beginning of the end for Erdogan' story again" will never learn. "AK Party won 44.3 % and the coalition won 51.6 % of the votes," Kalin posted on Twitter.
"Erdogan has his mandate until 2023. No elections till then," Yeni Safak cited him as saying.
"Stop presenting your wishful thinking as fact and analysis," the spokesman added.
