An earthquake measuring 4.7 points on the Richter scale was recorded in Karachay-Cherkessia 10 km from the village of Dombay, a source in the emergency services of the region said.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, RIA Novosti reports. No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
