Farmers of Karachay-Cherkessia are planning to gather a record harvest of grain crops, exceeding the historical maximum.
"This year we are expecting a gross yield of grain crops, including cereals and corn, amounting to 400 thousand tons, which could become the highest figure in the history of Karachay-Cherkessia," the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of KCR Arthur Hadzhimustafov said, Interfax-South reports.
The maximum amount of cereal in Karachay-Cherkessia has been gathered in the past year – 345 thousand tons.
