The first inter-regional bike tour 'Through the mountains to the sea', the route of which goes through Crimea, will start in Karachay-Cherkessia. The event in honor of the second anniversary of the reunification of the Crimean peninsula with Russia aims to unite fans of active recreation and to promote domestic tourism, the press-service of the 'Arkhyz 24' channel reported.
"Our new project will unite fans of active recreation. It's main goal is the development of the tourism potential of the regions, as well as the demonstration of the accessibility and safety of bike tours across the North Caucasus and South of Russia," TASS quotes executive director of 'KCR Media' holding, Stanislav Belyakov, as saying.
