In the Derbent district new sections of the Kavkaz Federal Highway were opened today between the 903-911 km marks and the 911-921 km marks. The opening ceremony was attended by the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, the head of PKU ‘Management of Federal Highways ‘Caspian’’ of the Federal Road Agency, Alexei Volkov, the deputy chairman of the government of the republic, Magomed Isayev, the first deputy head of administration of the head and the government of Dagestan, Ismail Efendiyev, the head of the Derbent district, Magomed Dzhelilov, and others.
The head of the Derbent district, Magomed Dzhelilov, thanked the road workers for their work and gave them gifts. Then Ramadan Abdullatipov and Alexey Volkov opened vehicular traffic on the newest section of the Kavkaz Highway.
