Kazakh Military Prosecutor's Office investigates deaths of soldiers in Caspian Sea

The Main Military Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan is beginning a pre-trial investigation according to the article of the Criminal Code 'Negligent attitude to military service' after the deaths of four Kazakh soldiers, who drowned during military exercises in the Caspian Sea, the press service of the Prosecutor's Office reported.

"We initiated a pre-trial investigation under Article 453 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'Negligent attitude to military service' into the deaths of four conscripts of military unit 25744 of the Ministry of Defence at the exercises in Aktau garrison on September 18, which resulted in grave consequences," RIA Novosti cited the report.
