Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the bill on amending to the country's constitution regarding renaming the Kazakh capital to Nur-Sultan, the presidential press service said Saturday, Urdu Point reported.
"I decree to rename the city of Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to the city of Nur-Sultan, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the text of the bill reads.
