The new alphabet of the Kazakh language in Latin, consisting of 25 letters, was presented in the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the director of the Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics, Erden Kazhybek reported. "This alphabet was submitted and approved," he said.
According to the scientist, the new alphabet will be the most convenient in terms of using modern technologies. "Now we live in the age of the Internet... Therefore, in terms of pragmatism, we came up with 26 letters of the Latin alphabet to convey all the sounds of the Kazakh language," he said.
