Oral and Saryarka ships of Kazakhstan's Navy are heading towards Iran's northern port city of Bandar Anzali.
The chief of staff of military unit 29011, captain of 2nd rank Kusain Umarov said that this time the "Kazakh Naval forces plan to visit the Anzali Port of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazinform reports.
Umarov noted that the total distance exceeds 450 nautical miles.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstansaid that the purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral military cooperation.
