Kazakhstan’s National Bank will be relocated to Nur-Sultan next spring, chairman of the National Bank Erbolat Dosayev said.
"The National Bank, as the premises are ready, will move first on a rental basis, then we plan to construct our own building. We are planning to move to Nur-Sultan in spring of 2020," he noted.
The bank's chairman added that the move will not affect the activities of the bank and, in turn, the joint work with country’s government will increase the quality of forming the monetary policy of the country.
According to him, the representative office of the National Bank will remain in Almaty. "The corresponding resolution has already been prepared," Dosayev said.
O November 11, Kazakh President Kassym Jomart Tokayev signed the order on re-organization of National Bank.
