President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, the press service of the Kazakh president said, Trend reported.
The sides discussed topical issues of cooperation in the field of defense and cooperation within the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) framework.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Sergei Shoigu stressed the importance of holding the international exhibition KADEX-2018 in Kazakhstan and pointed out its effectiveness for strengthening interstate relations in the defense-industrial sphere of the two countries.
