The upper chamber of the Kazakh parliament approved the ratification of a protocol that specifies a procedure for distribution of import customs duties between the states participating in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Kazakhstan's Minister of Economy Timur Suleimenov said that before the signing of the protocol, the tariff rates of Kazakhstan, Russia and Armenia were 7.11%, 85.32% and 1.11% respectively.
The protocol was signed by the EEU heads with the following standards: Armenia - 1.22%; Belarus - 4.56%; Kazakhstan - 7.055%; Kyrgyzstan - 1.9%; Russia - 85.265%, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
