Kazakhstan becomes UN Security Council member

Starting from today and until the end of 2018, Kazakhstan will be a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. 

In this position, Kazakhstan plans to represent the interests of the entire region in the Security Council.

"We will make a significant contribution to the search for solutions to global problems," Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
