The Kazakh authorities do not intent to revise the trade relationship with Russia within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) due to sanctions imposed against Moscow, National Economic Minister Alibek Kuantyrov told a briefing on Thursday.
"In general, it is not suggested to revise the relationship with the Russian Federation as it is one of our main trade partners. Russia is the first in terms of imports [to Kazakhstan] overall," he said when asked about the possible revision of trade relations with Russia within the EAEU amid the anti-Russia sanctions.
Trade with Russia will continue in products that have not been hit by sanctions, the minister explained. "We will trade in all goods allowed," he said.
