 Kazakhstan hit by 5.2-magnitude earthquake

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Kazakhstan's Almaty region at night, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The earthquake has been registered  at 01:15 local time 356 km north-east from Almaty.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, RIA Novosti reported.
