‘‘Kazakhstan is interested in the resumption of swap oil trade with Iran,’’ the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic Vladimir Shkolnik told a press conference on the sidelines of the Eurasian Energy Forum in Astana.
The Chairman of the Board and the Austrian company VITOL GROUP, Ian Taylor, was also interested in such shipments. At the same time, he noted that it will be possible to begin only after lifting of sanctions against the Iranian oil industry and banking sector.
