Kazakhstan offered to host a special event in Nur-Sultan in autumn to solve the problems of Afghanistan.
Kazakh authorities have invited the permanent representatives of OSCE states to the Kazakh capital, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Beibut Atamkulov said during a meeting with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office – Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák at the OSCE Ministerial Meeting.
"The Kazakh side proposed to hold an event on Afghanistan in conjunction with the visit of the permanent representatives of states of the OSCE to Kazakhstan," the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry added that the meeting in the Kazakh capital will help increase the involvement of the OSCE in resolving the situation and post-conflict rehabilitation of Afghanistan, New Europe reported.
