Kazakhstan registered 899 new COVID-19 cases for the past day.
These new cases included 237 in Almaty, 112 in Nur-Sultan, 76 in Almaty region, 71 in West Kazakhstan region, 68 in Karaganda region, 55 in Akmola region, 52 in Pavlodar region, 49 in Kostanai region, 41 in Atyrau region, 39 in Aktobe region, 38 in North Kazakhstan region, 34 in East Kazakhstan region, 9 in Shymkent, 9 in Jambyl region, 5 in Turkestan region, 4 in Kyzylorda region.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases reached 221,669, AKIpress reported.
