Kazakhstan to amend gasoline export agreements with Russia

Kazakh Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev said that Astana is working with Moscow on changes to the bilateral agreement to start exporting gasoline.

He added that Astana is focused on Central Asia in this issue .

Deputy chairman of the board for the transportation, processing and marketing of oil at the Kazakh national company KazMunayGas, Daniyar Tiesov, earlier said that Kazakhstan plans to begin deliveries of gasoline to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan this autumn. It is expected that the will be able to export 1-1.2 million tons of gasoline in 2019.

Earlier, the authorities of Kazakhstan proposed to ban the import of gasoline from Russia by rail for three months. The order of the Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev was published on the portal of e-government of Kazakhstan.
