The Kazakh authorities plan to supply another 20,000 tons of oil via the Druzhba oil pipeline to Germany this April, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov told reporters on Tuesday.

According to him, the first batch has already been supplied, while the second batch is planned to be delivered in March. Kazakhstan plans to supply an average of 20,000 tons of oil per month. April supplies are also planned at 20,000 tons, the head of the Kazakh Energy Ministry said.

Kazakhstan’s commitments on crude supplies to Germany stand at around 300,000 tons of oil per year, Akchulakov added.

KazTransOil, a Kazakh oil pipeline company providing services for the transportation of crude to the domestic market, for transit and for export, supplied 20,000 tons of Kazakh oil through the system of trunk oil pipelines of Transneft in the direction of the oil delivery point Adamova Zastava for further delivery to Germany in February 2023.
