The volumes of oil supplied by Kazakhstan through Azerbaijan will grow, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said following a meeting with Ilham Aliyev.

The President recalled that earlier in 2023, Kazakh oil was sent through Azerbaijan for the first time.

"The next step is to increase the volume of deliveries and give them a long-term, stable character",

 Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

The head of state thanked the President of Azerbaijan for the personal support he provided in the implementation of these important initiatives.

Breakthrough projects
Another topic of talks between the leaders was breakthrough investment projectsю They can become "points of growth" for the economies of both countries.

Tokayev specified that joint ventures could be created in a variety of areas, including industry, agriculture and construction.

Agriculture
Separately, Tokayev touched upon cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, where the countries, according to him, have great potential: agriculture already accounts for more than a third of the total trade turnover, and these figures need to be increased in the future.
