Kazakhstan to up oil output through Caspian Pipeline Consortium

Kazakhstan plans to increase oil transportation through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) from more than 50 million tonnes to 60 million tonnes in 2023, the country’s Energy Minister Bulat Akchulakov said.

Speaking on the sidelines of the CERAWeek international energy conference in Houston, Akchulakov also told RIA Novosti that Kazakhstan plans to increase oil production to 2 million barrels per day by the end of 2024.
