According to the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, an extremely rare case for human physiology occurred in Uralsk: 29-year-old Liliya Konovalova gave birth to a son 2.5 months after giving birth to her daughter.
“Lilia’s daughter was born at 26th week, and after two months and 16 days the long-awaited son was born,” the Kazakh Ministry of Health specified.
According to the doctors, the case is explained by the fact that the woman had a double uterus and the children developed independently of each other.
