Shareholders of JSC Kazkommertsbank elected a new board of directors. It will include six people for a term of three years.
The press service of the bank said that the shareholders decided on the early termination of the chairman of the board of directors Kenes Rakishev's term. Independent directors Serik Akhanov and Rashit Mahat, as well as members of the council Mark Holtsman and Nurlan Abduov were also dismissedahead of schedule, Sputnik-Kazakhstan reports.
Askar Elemesov, Arman Dunaev and Azamat Dzholdasbekov were elected to the new board of directors of the bank as independent directors, and Aliya Karpikova as a representative of the shareholder of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, which previously purchased 96.81% of Kazkommertsbank shares.
The new board of directors also includes Ulf Wokurka and Saule Kishkimbaeva.
