Today, on March 12th, representatives of Russia and the US will hold consultations on Syria, the US Secretary of State John Kerry stated after a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia.
"Our observer teams will meet today in Geneva and Amman," he stressed.
The US Secretary of State also noted that a discussion of ceasefire violations in Syria will be on the agenda. However, Kerry pointed out that violence has decreased sharply as a result of the ceasefire in Syria. "The level of violence, according to all reports, has decreased by 80-90%, which is very, very significant. And we will continue to work to reduce it," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
