Yesterday, the UN General Assembly in New York held talks between US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
According to State Department spokesman John Kirby, the Secretary of State and Foreign Minister of Iran met for further negotiations on the implementation of a joint comprehensive action plan on the Iranian deal, RIA Novosti reported.
Earlier, John Kerry and Mohammad Javad Zarif had already met at the UN last week. At the meeting, the US Secretary of State expressed hope for cooperation between the two countries on the Middle East problems, including Syria and Yemen.
