US Secretary of State John Kerry stated about the possibility of reaching agreement on a truce in Syria in the near future.
According to him, now such an agreement is "closer than it has ever been," and a truce can come into force in the coming days.
Kerry added that "a preliminary principal agreement" on such a truce has already been reached, specifying that we are talking about the coordination carried out by him together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov, Interfax reports.
