The foreign ministers of Russia and the United States have held a regular telephone conversation.
It is reported that Sergey Lavrov held a conversation on the initiative of his US counterpart John Kerry.
"The foreign ministers continued to discuss the prospects for a political settlement in Syria with the participation of the authorities and the patriotic opposition with the support of this process by the international community, including leading regional states,’’ Gazeta.ru reports.
