Kerry: failure of the truce will completely destroy Syria

The failure of the Syrian peace process will lead to the complete destruction of the country, US Secretary of State John Kerry said today at a congressional hearing.

"I'm here not to agitate for something that will definitely work, but I tell you that this is the only way to put an end to this war. The alternative is that the war may be aggravated and Syria will be completely destroyed without a possibility to reunite,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
