The positions of Iran and the US on the Middle East are completely opposite. This was stated by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in his speech marking the end of Ramadan.
‘’The US policy in the region (the Middle East) is exactly the opposite to Iran’s policy," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
In addition, Khamenei put special emphasis on the fact that Iran has no plans to enter into a dialogue with the United States on the international agenda and the issue of the Iranian nuclear dossier was an "exception."
