Kiev admits unpreparedness for NATO membership

Ukraine is currently not ready to join NATO, the acting head of Kiev's mission to NATO Egor Bozhok stated.

"Therefore, together with the alliance we focus on bringing Ukraine's defense security sector to the standards that are applied in NATO. It will allow us, when we are ready, to discuss the issue of membership in NATO more specifically," gazeta.ru quoted him as saying.
