The Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine is going to simplify the procedure for crossing the border with Crimea for "foreign journalists and human rights defenders," the press service of the department reported.
The Ministry decided to create a special coordinating council to deal with this issue and in September will make proposals to the government on changing the existing order of crossing the border.
"A simplified procedure for journalists and human rights defenders fully complies with the national interests of Ukraine," TASS quotes the advisor to the head of the agency, Sergey Kostinskiy, as saying.
